Gradishta hill above the Dumrea plain near BelshGRADISHTË

Gradishtë is an Illyrian hill settlement above the plain, occupied since the Bronze Age and an urban centre of the Parthini — sometimes called the “Acropolis of Dumrea”. What survives is archaeological rather than monumental, so come for the position, the history, and the wide view over the lakes.

When to come

Spring and autumn are kindest for the climb, and the spring Balloon Fest is held up on the hill.
